Sibiu: 72-year-old man dies after tractor overturns

A 72-year-old man from Cristian has died after his tractor overturned on Sunday near the exit of his locality. Emergency responders from the Sibiu Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) and a SMURD medical team arrived at the scene to find the man trapped under the agricultural vehicle.

The victim, who sustained multiple severe traumas, was transported unconscious to the Sibiu County Emergency Hospital, where he was intubated and placed on mechanical ventilation. His death was confirmed by hospital representatives on Monday. Police are continuing investigations to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
