Sibiu house fire caused by suspected electrical short circuit

A powerful fire broke out at a residential house on Rozmarinului Street in Sibiu. Emergency services, including two fire engines, a ladder truck, a rescue vehicle, and a SMURD medical crew, were deployed to the scene.

The fire affected a roof area of approximately 50 to 60 square meters. According to Raluca Marcu, spokesperson for ISU Sibiu, the fire has been extinguished, and authorities are working to assess the damage. The probable cause is believed to be an electrical spark caused by a defective cable.
