Sibling Breakers Yeshua and Chaya Gabor Win at São José do Rio Pardo Championship

The second stage of the Campeonato Paulista de Breaking took place on Sunday in São José do Rio Pardo, São Paulo. Organized by the Federação Paulista BreakingSP, the event counted toward the state ranking and featured B‑Boys and B‑Girls across Sub‑13, Sub‑18 and Adult divisions.

Sixteen‑year‑old Chaya Gabor, known as B‑Girl Angel do Brasil, captured the Sub‑18 female title, while her 19‑year‑old brother Yeshua Gabor won the Adult male category. Their simultaneous victories turned the podium into a family celebration.

Both athletes have long‑standing dance backgrounds: Yeshua began with tap at age five before focusing on breaking, later adding classical and contemporary ballet and becoming a certified Hip‑Hop International judge. Chaya started dancing at three, overcame a premature birth at 850 g and a 90‑day neonatal ICU stay, and has emerged as a leading figure in Brazil’s new breaking generation.
