SIC announces programming changes and new talent show

The Portuguese television station SIC is implementing significant changes to its weekend programming. The network has announced the conclusion of the program ‘Estamos em Casa’ and the upcoming end of ‘Domingão’ on September 20, 2026, after six years and three months on air. Presenter Emanuel, a central figure of ‘Domingão’, described the show as an absolute success that served a public service by showcasing Portugal's cultural and historical heritage.

In its place, SIC will launch a new talent competition titled ‘Talentos em Grande’ on September 5. The program will be hosted by Andreia Rodrigues and is designed for children and youths between the ages of 4 and 14. Participants will compete in various disciplines, including music, dance, acting, magic, humor, and circus arts, with performances evaluated by a jury and the viewing audience.
