Sicilian football clubs finalize rosters for upcoming Serie D season

Sicilian football clubs in Serie D are finalizing their preparations and rosters ahead of the upcoming season and Coppa Italia preliminary rounds.

Nicosia Calcio is set to begin its pre-season training next week under coach Gabriele Cipolla. The squad includes several new additions such as midfielder Giovanni Fricano, goalkeeper Mustapha Lamrhari El Mghari, and Argentine midfielder Nahuel Ezequiel Suarez. The team is scheduled to play its first friendly match against Mistretta on August 24.

Siracusa has strengthened its roster with the addition of Algerian striker Zakaria Boulahia and midfielder Carmelo Forti. Meanwhile, Trapani has completed its under-age roster with the signing of Andrea Bonaccorsi and appointed Carlo Mineo as the new youth sector manager.

Other regional updates include Nissa adding young players Alessandro Calvosa and Francesco Distratto, and Athletic Club Palermo promoting five players from their Under 17 squad to the first team. Additionally, Nuova Igea Virtus has concluded a training camp in Fiuggi.
