Sicily Antimafia Commission to Audit €90 million Cyclone Harry Funds
Regional deputy Santo Primavera of the Mpa‑Grande Sicilia group called for close monitoring of the €90 million allocated to municipalities for emergency recovery after Cyclone Harry. He addressed the Sicilian Regional Assembly, urging the president of the Antimafia Commission of the Regional Assembly, Antonello Cracolici, to ensure transparency, traceability and strict controls over the funds, which are intended to restore infrastructure, secure territories and restore services.
Primavera emphasized that while urgent procedures are needed, every euro must be spent on the real needs of the affected areas. He noted that the Antimafia Commission can play a key role in safeguarding administrations, healthy enterprises and citizens from misuse of the resources.
