Italy and France host diverse Halloween and All Saints' Day celebrations
Various regions across Italy and France are preparing for Halloween and All Saints' Day festivities. In France, the Costa Azzurra offers immersive events, including electronic music experiences in Nice and themed escape games.
In Italy, celebrations are widespread. Piedmont features pumpkin patches and castle tours, while Formigine hosts creative workshops and an American football tournament. Other local events include themed dining in Moncalvo schools, a family-oriented festival in Baronissi, and an immersive village experience in Ponte. The Wonderwood parks are also hosting the “WonderBoo” adventure across several locations.
In Sicily, the period blends Halloween with traditional All Saints' and All Souls' Day customs. Local traditions include the “cannistru” (a basket of gifts for children) and specific artisanal sweets such as “frutta di Martorana,” “pupi di zucchero,” and “ossa di morto,” which are recognized as traditional agri-food products. On Mount Etna, celebrations include night excursions and themed gatherings.
