Sicily hosts literary festivals honoring Lucio Dalla and local authors

The historic Castello Branciforti in Raccuja held a presentation of “Caro Lucio ti scrivo”, the latest literary work by journalist Marino Bartoletti that pays tribute to the late singer‑songwriter Lucio Dalla. The event, part of the “Letture nel Borgo” cultural programme, featured remarks from the town mayor Ivan Martella and vice‑mayor Massimiliano Giambrone.

Separately, the second edition of the “Contamina‑azioni” series began at Villa Margi in Reitano, running from 1 to 29 August 2025. Organized by artist and patron Antonio Presti, the programme includes talks by contemporary authors Giosuè Calaciura, Nunzia Lo Presti, Maria Attanasio, Nino Amadore, Sergio Sichenze and Gian Mauro Costa, aiming to regenerate the local territory through the fusion of literature, art and community participation.
