Italy hosts diverse regional cultural and gastronomic festivals
Various regions across Italy are hosting seasonal festivals and cultural events throughout October. In Calabria, the Clementina Festival 2026 in Corigliano-Rossano features the Palatino sandwich and Clement’ALE beer, while Lamezia Terme celebrates the Aglio Rosa di Nicastro, a newly recognized Slow Food Presidium.
In Sicily and the Nebrodi mountains, Floresta hosts the 48th Sagra della Provola to showcase local dairy traditions. Piedmont offers Halloween-themed activities at the Royal Sabaudian Residences, including workshops at Palazzo Carignano and Villa della Regina.
Cultural programming includes art exhibitions at Forte Sangallo in Nettuno, Renaissance-focused guided tours in Rimini, and historical lectures in Palmanova. Gastronomic events also feature chestnut festivals in Montemurlo and Soriano nel Cimino, and a dedicated food festival in Albano Laziale.
