Sicily launches journalism award for reporting on EU funds

The fourth edition of the journalism award ‘Fesr Sicilia: l’Europa si racconta’ is currently accepting applications until November 15. Organized by the Programming Department of the Presidency of the Sicilian Region and the Order of Journalists of Sicily, the award focuses on the communication and transparent reporting of European structural funds within the region.

Journalists registered with the Order of Sicily may submit articles, reportage, or services published or broadcast between January 1 and November 15, 2026, across various media, including print, web, TV, radio, and news agencies. The competition features six categories, including a special ‘under 35’ section. Winners will receive prizes such as a three-day visiting tour of European institutions abroad, commemorative plaques, and 500 euro gift cards for technological equipment.
