Sicily prepares for upcoming running marathons in Licata and Eolie Islands

Preparations are underway for two significant running events in Sicily. The IV Edition of the Half Marathon Licata Città di Mare is scheduled for September 20. Organizers report high registration numbers, with the first phase of enrollment exceeding expectations. The event aims to combine competitive running with local tourism, offering a weekend experience for both athletes and their companions.

Additionally, details have been finalized for the 24th Eolie Running Tour, taking place from August 30 to September 5. The race will traverse several islands, including Panarea, Lipari, Salina, Stromboli, and Vulcano. This year's program features a new stage in Panarea and will conclude with an awards ceremony in Vulcano. Several past winners, including Mattia Guidetti and Valerie Woodland, are confirmed to participate.
