Sicily schedules rescheduled exams for 50 pregnant candidates

The Sicily Region has scheduled new dates for asynchronous written exams for at least 50 candidates who requested postponements due to pregnancy. The exams, related to recruitment procedures held in July for profiles including Teco, Ispam, Sac, Smsl, and Sist, will take place on September 22 and 23.

Following an investigation by the Formez commission, the candidates were granted the right to rescheduling in accordance with current regulations. The tests will be held at the Saracens Hotel in Isola delle Femmine, near Palermo. Details regarding the procedures have been published on the InPA recruitment portal.

Regional Minister for Public Function, Elisa Ingala, stated that the decision to reschedule was necessary to ensure equal opportunities and legal protection for pregnant participants. While the postponement will cause a slight delay in the publication of provisional rankings, the administration emphasized that the move aims to guarantee transparency, equity, and respect for maternity.
