Sicily to host GEPI Expo 2026 and tourism summit in Misterbianco

Sicily is preparing for several professional events in Misterbianco focused on the hospitality and tourism sectors.

GEPI Expo 2026 is scheduled to take place from October 25 to 28 at SiciliaFiera. The exhibition covers approximately 8,000 square meters and is dedicated to professionals in catering, pizzeria, pastry, gelato, and street food. The event will feature four thematic areas: Pizza Concept, Pastry Zone, Risto Hub for professional kitchens, and a Food Truck Area for mobile catering. The expo will include technical demonstrations, supplier meetings, and national pizza and gelato competitions.

Additionally, on October 1, 2026, the event ‘Sicilia, Destinazione d’Eccellenza’ will be held at LHUB in Misterbianco. Organized by Be Sicily Mag, this talk aims to discuss how to transform Sicily’s cultural and natural assets into a competitive, structured tourism destination. The session will bring together regional officials, entrepreneurs, and designers to address the challenges of connecting local resources with modern tourist experiences.
