Sicily's Favara and Alcamo ready for 2027 municipal elections

In Favara, the local branch of Democrazia Cristiana, led by Giuseppe Nobile, is organizing its first conference of services to map out a political strategy for the municipal elections scheduled for 2027. The meeting will involve party officials, administrators, members and supporters to define a clear programme aimed at strengthening the party’s presence and presenting a stable governance plan for the city.

In Alcamo, the local Democratic Party (PD) has begun its campaign planning for the 2027 local elections. The party’s city committee, joined by provincial secretary Valeria Battaglia and regional deputy Dario Safina, discussed building a broad progressive alliance that includes the Five Star Movement, Greens, Left parties and local civic groups. The PD aims to continue its current administration while presenting a refreshed slate of candidates focused on participation, reform and good governance.
