Sicily’s Inferno 2026 show draws regional tourism chief Elvira Amata to Alcantara Gorges

Regional assessor for Tourism, Sport and Spectacle Elvira Amata visited the Alcantara Gorges in Sicily to attend the new edition of the site‑specific performance “Inferno 2026”, based on Dante’s work. The show, produced by Buongiorno Sicilia, is sold out but organizers keep a ticket window for local residents.

Performances are scheduled from 6–12 August and 17–23 August. Producer Ninni Trischitta, director Giovanni Anfuso and Motta Camastra mayor Carmelo Blancato participated in the visit, highlighting the event’s role in the Alkantia project that promotes cultural festivals in the region.
