Sickingen-Gymnasium Landstuhl students prepare for EU simulation

Students at Sickingen-Gymnasium Landstuhl are preparing for the ‘St4rtEU’ project, an upcoming European Union simulation scheduled for November in Mainz. As part of the preparation, students learned about the cooperation between key EU institutions and the role of the Council of the European Union in political decision-making.

During the simulation, which will take place in the plenary hall of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Parliament, students will interact with peers from France, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Representing the interests of Estonia, Lithuania, and Poland, participants will simulate Council meetings to negotiate legislative proposals and seek common solutions through diplomatic argumentation.
