Sicredi allocates R$2.5 million to ten Boa Vista social projects

Brazilian cooperative Sicredi Celeiro MT/RR announced that its Social Fund will allocate R$2.5 million in 2026 to support ten nonprofit projects in Boa Vista, Roraima. The funded organisations – Associação Mexendo a Panela, COOFECS, Upparoraima, Abrigo Bom Samaritano, Rotary Club Boa Vista Caçari, Centro Terapêutico de Recuperação, Lions Clube Boa Vista, Casa Lázaro, AACBV and Recanto de Davi – work in areas such as social assistance, health, inclusion, shelter and community development, targeting vulnerable populations.

Created in 2005, the fund has already directed more than R$15.2 million to 101 projects across Mato Grosso and Roraima. President Lárcio Pedro Lenz said, “Each project carries dreams, needs and the desire to transform realities. By supporting an entity we are investing in people, opportunities and a better future for our communities.” The initiative aims to generate lasting impact by strengthening local organisations and promoting sustainable development through cooperative action.
