Sicredi surpasses R$ 500 billion in total assets

Sicredi has surpassed R$ 500 billion in total assets as of July 2026, marking a significant period of expansion. Over the last five years, the institution's assets grew by 175%, rising from R$ 182.5 billion in July 2021 to R$ 502 billion.

This growth is accompanied by a near doubling of the member base, which increased from 5.28 million to 10.5 million associates. The institution has also expanded its physical presence, opening more than 1,000 branches since 2021 to reach over 3,100 service points across more than 2,100 municipalities.

In the same five-year period, Sicredi's expanded credit portfolio grew by 165.5%, reaching R$ 296.7 billion. Alexandre Barbosa, executive director of Administration and Finance, stated that this milestone reflects member confidence and the solidity of the business model.
