Siddaramaiah's political future and Delhi visit clarified by Karnataka leaders

Karnataka political leaders have addressed speculation regarding former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s recent visit to Delhi and his future political role. Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara clarified that the visit was a standard part of Siddaramaiah’s responsibilities as a member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) and was not driven by dissatisfaction. Parameshwara noted that Siddaramaiah had already demonstrated his commitment to the party by resigning from the Chief Minister post to abide by the party High Command’s decisions.

Minister HC Balakrishna further clarified that while Siddaramaiah has not announced a formal retirement from politics, he may step away from electoral politics. Balakrishna stated that Siddaramaiah expressed disappointment regarding the influence of money in the current election and political systems, but emphasized that he will remain active within the party.
