Side-by-Side Vehicles (SSV) see rising popularity

Side-by-Side Vehicles (SSV) are becoming increasingly common in various environments, including fields, paths, and mountains. These vehicles, produced by brands such as Polaris, Yamaha, CF Moto, and Can-Am, are utilized by both agricultural workers and recreational users.

An SSV is characterized by having four wheels, a steering wheel, and seats with safety belts, where occupants sit side-by-side. This distinguishes them from quads, which use handlebars and require riders to sit astride the vehicle. SSVs are generally larger, heavier, and more stable than quads, offering protection through a safety roll cage or cabin.

There are three primary categories of SSVs: utility models designed for agricultural work or hunting, sport models focused on performance and racing, and crossover models that serve both leisure and utility purposes.
