Siderno hosts inaugural PizzaVille festival

The first edition of PizzaVille, a four-day gastronomic festival, is taking place in Piazza Portosalvo, Siderno, from October 15 to 18. Organized by the Associazione PizzaVillage, the event features twelve local pizzerias showcasing diverse styles and creative interpretations of pizza using traditional Calabrian ingredients.

Featured regional products include 'nduja from Spilinga, caciocavallo from Ciminà, smoked ricotta from Mammola, bergamot, and black pig. To streamline the experience, organizers have introduced a dedicated web app allowing visitors to view menus, order, pay, and monitor preparation status via smartphone.

The festival includes a musical program featuring Hosteria N. 4, a tribute to Ligabue, 883 Revolution, and Mr. Muscolo & i suoi Estrogeni. Additionally, a 'Baby Village' with animation and games will be available nightly for children.
