Sidhu Abhange assaulted by women inside Kopri Police Station

A violent confrontation occurred inside the Kopri Police Station in Thane, Maharashtra, where a group of women allegedly assaulted YouTuber Sidhu Abhange and his wife in the presence of police officers.

The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute in the Kopri clothing market. Local women had gathered at the police station to file a formal complaint against Abhange, an office bearer for the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena (Yuva Sena), alleging that he had demanded ₹500 from each of them.

When Abhange arrived at the station, the situation escalated into a physical altercation. Police personnel intervened to de-escalate the situation. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, including reviewing CCTV footage and statements, to determine the exact circumstances of the assault and the validity of the extortion allegations. Abhange reportedly has several prior criminal cases registered against him.
