Sido auctions Harald Juhnke's tuxedo for 4,000 euros

German rapper Sido has purchased a tuxedo formerly worn by the late entertainer Harald Juhnke for 4,000 euros. The auction took place at the Wilma Shoppen shopping center in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

Sido, who described Juhnke as a major role model, noted his admiration for the entertainer's humor and authenticity. The tuxedo was notably worn by Juhnke during his final television appearance, 'Typisch Juhnke!', in 1999.

The proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Mariaschutz Children and Youth House, managed by Caritas Familien- und Jugendhilfe, to support financially disadvantaged children and young people. This auction served as the opening event for a larger two-day sale involving approximately 3,500 handmade original theater costumes.
