Sido releases new single ‘ISSA’ and announces upcoming album

German rapper Sido has released his new single ‘ISSA’, marking the beginning of his tenth studio album titled ‘Frieden’, which is scheduled for release on November 27, 2026. The track explores themes of faith and personal growth, with the 45-year-old artist referencing Jesus Christ and his own journey from difficult circumstances to his current state of contentment.

In addition to the musical release, Sido has publicly discussed his decision to stop drinking alcohol, describing it as a ‘gate to evil’ that no longer provides value compared to the subsequent loss of productivity. He noted that this lifestyle change has not hindered his creativity but has instead redirected his energy.

The music video for ‘ISSA’ features a more transparent version of his iconic chrome mask and includes his children; his 26-year-old son Rashid plays the drums, while his 12-year-old son Bo provides vocal accents.
