Sidoarjo police launch child safety and community outreach programs

Police in Sidoarjo, Indonesia, are conducting community outreach programs focused on child safety and public security. In Buduran, Polsek Buduran personnel monitored public spaces to ensure a safe and conducive environment for children and families to interact and play.

Additionally, female officers from Polresta Sidoarjo conducted a ‘Polwan Goes To School’ program at SDN Negeri Cemengkalang. The initiative, themed ‘My Body Belongs to Me, I Dare to Protect It’, aimed to educate students on recognizing and preventing sexual violence. The program included a joint declaration between students and teachers to commit to protecting the younger generation from sexual abuse.
