Sidoarjo Police receive MURI record for 24-hour mobile license service

The Sidoarjo Police Resort (Polresta Sidoarjo) has received a record from the Museum Rekor-Dunia Indonesia (MURI) for its innovative mobile driver's license service.

The 'SIM Keliling Sahabat Sidoarjo' program operated 24 hours a day without interruption for 17 days, from July 30 to August 15, 2026. This initiative was designed to provide easier administrative access for citizens to renew their driver's licenses and ensure compliance with traffic regulations.

Sidoarjo Police Chief Kombes Pol. Christian Tobing accepted the award following the 81st Indonesian Independence Day ceremony. He credited the achievement to the hard work of the personnel and the increasing public awareness regarding the importance of valid driving documentation for road safety.
