Sidoarjo Regent Subandi conducts inspections and distributes aid

Sidoarjo Regent Subandi has undertaken several community-focused initiatives in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. During a series of visits, he personally delivered wheelchairs to four residents with mobility limitations, including Sulastri and Djoko Ispriyanto, to improve their ability to participate in social activities. Additionally, plans were announced to provide a prosthetic leg for Djoko Ispriyanto following a technical assessment.

In a separate capacity, Subandi conducted a surprise inspection of the pump house construction project in Jati Village. The project aims to mitigate flooding near the toll bridge in front of Lippo Plaza Sidoarjo. While noting that construction is progressing on schedule, the Regent instructed supervisory consultants to strictly monitor material quality and technical specifications to ensure structural durability. The local government aims to complete the pump house by the end of 2026 to prepare for the rainy season.
