Sidoarjo Regent Subandi prioritizes flood prevention and development planning

Sidoarjo Regent Subandi has issued instructions to village heads in the Wonoayu District to accelerate river normalization and drainage repairs to mitigate flood risks ahead of the upcoming rainy season. During an audience with local leaders, officials identified several critical areas requiring attention, including shallow or narrowing waterways in Mojorangagung, Pagerngumbuk, and Ploso villages, as well as flood-prone spots in Karangpuri.

In a separate initiative, Subandi opened a socialization session regarding the management of the Sidoarjo DPRD's 'Pokir' (legislative aspirations). The session, organized by the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), aims to align the executive and legislative branches on regional development planning. Subandi emphasized that all legislative proposals must comply with regulations, consider community needs, and align with the region's financial capacity and priority scales to ensure effective budgeting and poverty reduction.
