Sidrolândia leads Ceasa-MS fruit and vegetable supply

Sidrolândia has emerged as the leading supplier of fruits, vegetables, and legumes to Ceasa-MS in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Between January and May of this year, the municipality commercialized approximately 943,658.15 kilograms of produce at the supply center.

This leadership is attributed to the strength of family farming, which occupies about 80,000 hectares in the region. To support these producers, the Sidrolândia City Hall has implemented various initiatives, including technical assistance and the provision of free transportation for food products to the Ceasa market. Mayor Rodrigo Basso noted that reducing transportation costs is essential for strengthening the production chain and ensuring small farmers can reach major consumer markets.
