Sidrolândia reports two homicides in a single night

Two separate homicides occurred in Sidrolândia, Mato Grosso do Sul, within a few hours on Wednesday. In the first incident, a 44-year-old man was shot in front of a tire repair shop in the Cascatinha II neighborhood. Despite being rushed to Elmíria Silvério Barbosa Hospital by firefighters, he succumbed to his injuries.

Later that night, near midnight, a second attack took place in the same municipality. A group of approximately seven hooded men reportedly broke into a residence on Rua Doutor Nélio Saraiva Paim, claiming to be police officers. During the invasion, a 22-year-old individual was shot and killed. Local police are investigating both crimes separately, and no arrests have been made as of Wednesday night.
