Sidurt invests 14.6 million pesos in Corredor 2000 road repairs
Arturo Espinoza Jaramillo, secretary of Sidurt, announced an investment of 14.6 million pesos for major pothole repair works on the southern section of the Corredor Tijuana-Rosarito 2000.
The project covers 5,600 square meters of roadway at strategic points. Current efforts are focused on the final stages, which include the recovery and reconditioning of shoulders using asphalt mixture. These works are expected to be completed by the second week of October.
The infrastructure improvements aim to provide greater width and safety for vehicular traffic by optimizing the integration of road margins with the newly treated driving surface. This corridor serves as a strategic connection between the municipalities of Tijuana, Tecate, and Playas de Rosarito. Drivers are urged to exercise caution, respect speed limits, and follow instructions from construction personnel while works are ongoing.
