Siemens completes its largest global campus in Erlangen, Germany
Siemens has finished construction of the Siemens Campus Erlangen, the company's biggest site worldwide. The opening of Module 8 marks the consolidation of Siemens locations across the Greater Nuremberg area, bringing together roughly 16,000 employees from the region.
The project, costing about €1 billion between 2014 and today, added 18 new buildings, including reception, laboratory, research and education facilities. The campus is now open to the public, featuring restaurants and shops, and is promoted as a model of modern, sustainable workspaces.
Siemens plans to continue expanding the site with a Siemens Technology Campus on the former development and production grounds at the Erlanger Europakanal, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and the “Made for Germany” initiative.
