Siemens launches Intelligence Center X AI orchestration platform for manufacturers

Siemens Digital Industries Software unveiled its new industrial AI orchestration solution, Intelligence Center X, at the Realize LIVE event in Detroit on June 9, 2024. The software is designed to enable a hybrid workforce in which human operators and AI agents collaborate on production‑level tasks, moving AI applications from pilot projects into routine workflows. Integrated with Siemens’ existing data and cloud ecosystem and positioned within the Xcelerator portfolio, Intelligence Center X offers “digital co‑workers” that can process trusted data across a broader ecosystem and accelerate repetitive, high‑volume operations. The announcement highlighted similarities to IFS’s digital‑worker platform, emphasizing agentic AI capabilities that support supply‑chain, procurement and inventory functions in asset‑intensive industries.
