Siemens Mobility high-speed trains targeted for Vietnam rail projects

The Velaro Novo, the latest generation of high-speed trains from Siemens Mobility, is expected to be showcased at the VRT&CON 2026 international exhibition and conference in Hanoi. This technology is projected for future use on major high-speed rail lines in Vietnam, specifically the Hanoi – Quang Ninh and Ben Thanh – Can Gio routes.

Scheduled for October 8–10, 2026, at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center (VEC) in Dong Anh, the VRT&CON 2026 event focuses on modern railway technology and infrastructure supply chains. The exhibition aims to gather over 100 domestic and international organizations to discuss five key technological areas: infrastructure construction, system operation and optimization, information and signaling safety, railway vehicle technology, and smart city integrated station management.
