Siemens, NVIDIA expand partnership to deliver self‑verifying AI for semiconductor and PCB design

Siemens has broadened its strategic partnership with NVIDIA to develop self‑verifying, agent‑based AI workflows for electronic design automation (EDA) in semiconductor and printed circuit board (PCB) engineering. The new capabilities extend Siemens' Fuse™ EDA AI Agent system and are integrated into the recently launched Intelligence Center X, enabling AI agents to reason, act and continuously validate decisions against deterministic, physics‑based EDA engines. The approach aims to improve design quality, shorten time‑to‑results, increase tool‑calling reliability and optimise AI‑token usage in long‑running engineering workloads. Amit Gupta, senior vice‑president and chief AI strategy officer at Siemens EDA, said the collaboration “enhances domain‑specific industrial AI and creates trusted, self‑verifying workflows.” Timothy Costa, vice‑president and general manager of computational engineering at NVIDIA, added that the joint solution “improves design quality, speeds up results and gives engineering teams greater confidence at every step.”
