Siemianowice Śląskie expands AED network to 41 locations

Siemianowice Śląskie has expanded its network of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) to 41 permanent locations across the city. The expansion includes the recent addition of new devices to six educational facilities, including schools and kindergartens.

The procurement was funded through the Population Protection and Civil Defense Program via a grant from the Silesian Voivode. The current distribution of AEDs includes 13 in educational institutions, 7 in government and service buildings, 7 in healthcare facilities, 5 in cultural institutions, 5 in other locations, and 4 in sports facilities. Additionally, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center maintains a mobile AED kit for outdoor events. An interactive map has been developed to help residents locate the nearest devices.
