Siena and Ancona face frustration following recent football matches

Italian football clubs Siena and Ancona are facing internal frustration following recent matches.

Siena supporters expressed significant disappointment after a match against Lucchese. Despite showing high-level performance, the team suffered due to critical errors, including an own goal and a penalty conceded during a period of dominance. While the squad possesses strong individual talent in the midfield and attack, defensive inconsistencies and a lack of points have left the team in the middle of the standings.

Ancona also experienced setbacks following a draw against Assisi. Vice-president Emanuele Pesaresi noted a lack of team compactness and mental lapses, particularly after the opponent equalized. The club is currently focused on finding consistency and improving performance during set pieces and individual duels to avoid similar lapses in concentration.
