Siena launches musical totems for young artists

The City of Siena is launching a new initiative called ‘musical totems open stage’ to support emerging artists under the age of 35. The project provides free public spaces for young musicians to perform and showcase their talent.

A public demonstration and ‘call for artists’ is scheduled for October 2, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, in Piazza del Campo in front of the Palazzo Comunale. This event will serve to demonstrate how the service works and how artists can access it.

Following the debut in Piazza del Campo, the totem will be moved to Villa Rubini Manenti on October 3. Additional stations are planned for the area between via Bernardo Tolomei and via Savina Petrilli. The initiative aims to promote social inclusion, foster creativity, and address gender gaps within the artistic and musical sectors.
