Siena reopens Rifondazione Comunista headquarters as community space

The Rifondazione Comunista headquarters in Siena has reopened as a multifunctional community space known as ‘Spazio Libero’. The renovated facility is intended to serve as a hub for social interaction, mutual aid, and public debate.

A public hall within the center will be dedicated to the memory of Leonetta Mazzini. Mazzini was a Sienese communist and anti-fascist activist who died during the Spanish Civil War. The dedication aims to honor her historical role and her family's sacrifices for the cause of freedom and internationalism.
