Siena school commission collapses due to political deadlock
A political dispute within the center-right coalition in Siena has caused the collapse of the Culture and School Commission. The meeting, intended to discuss the reorganization of school institutes following the closure of the San Bernardino school, failed to reach a legal quorum.
The deadlock stems from internal friction involving Monica Crociani of Fratelli d'Italia and Commission President Maria Antonietta Campolo. The inability to hold the session prevents the redistribution of school complexes among the Jacopo della Quercia, Cecco Angiolieri, and Federico Tozzi institutes, leaving the future of several hundred families uncertain.
