Siena to host international Imaging in Heart Failure congress

The international congress “Imaging in Heart Failure” is scheduled to take place on October 29 and 30, 2026, at the University of Siena in Italy. Held in the Aula Magna of the Rectorate Palace, the event will be dedicated to the memory of Professor Sergio Mondillo.

The congress will feature an international faculty of over 80 experts in cardiovascular diagnostics, including specialists in echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance, cardiac computed tomography, and nuclear medicine. Professor Matteo Cameli, Director of the School of Cardiology at the University of Siena and elected Vice President of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), will serve as congress president.

The first morning of the event will include the annual meeting of the Italian Society of Cardiology (SIC) – Tuscany-Umbria section, involving cardiology specialists from Siena, Pisa, Florence, and Perugia.
