SiEngine Secures $200M to Accelerate Automotive Semiconductor Production

SiEngine Technology Co., Ltd., an automotive semiconductor designer incubated by ECARX Holdings Inc., raised US$200 million in equity financing from institutional investors in the first half of 2026. The funding supports SiEngine’s next‑phase research, development, production capacity expansion, and international customer growth, reinforcing ECARX’s vertical silicon‑to‑software strategy.

Co‑founded in 2018 by ECARX and Arm China, SiEngine remains majority‑owned by ECARX and focuses on vehicle‑grade silicon chips for ECARX’s software‑defined vehicle ecosystem. Its Longying series SoCs, paired with ECARX’s Antora central computing platforms, are already deployed globally in models such as Geely Galaxy, Lynk & Co, and FAW Hongqi. A multi‑year supply agreement with a major global automaker has been secured. The company recently unveiled the 5 nm Longying II cabin‑driving fusion SoC, featuring native large‑language‑model capability for the next‑generation Antora platforms and Flyme Auto OS, and is expanding alliances with commercial‑vehicle and robotaxi manufacturers.
