Sienna Spiro fronts PETA UK animal adoption campaign

London‑based singer Sienna Spiro appears in a new PETA UK video filmed at the Mayhew animal shelter in northwest London. In the campaign she is joined by a rescue dog named Tim and urges viewers to adopt pets from shelters rather than purchase them from breeders or online retailers.

Spiro stresses that “animals are for life, and you have to commit to them,” encouraging people to consider older cats and dogs and to look beyond kittens and puppies. The campaign highlights that shelters across the UK, the US and other countries are operating beyond capacity, and each animal sold by a breeder reduces the chance of a shelter animal finding a home.
