Siero Folk Festival and Osorno Theatre Festival Kick Off July Events

The 28th International Folklore Festival in Siero, Spain, began on Saturday, July 18, with a parade and performances by groups from Chile, Mallorca and Málaga. Organiser Aurora Cienfuegos highlighted the event as "a day of coexistence around traditional music and dance" and noted that admission is free until capacity is reached.

From July 21 to 25, the Osorno Theatre Festival 2026 will present three national productions and local shows in the Chilean city of Osorno. Mayor Jaime Bertin Valenzuela said the festival, backed by a 50‑million‑peso investment, "brings several days of recreation and culture for our people". Tickets cost 4,000 pesos and are available only via debit or credit cards.
