Sierra Grande hospital begins second stage of construction bidding

Authorities in Sierra Grande have initiated the bidding process for the second stage of construction works at the local hospital. The public opening of bids was led by Mayor Roxana Fernández and Hospital Director María Eugenia Calisalla.

Two companies, El Fortín SRL and GSI Servicios Industriales, submitted offers. However, the economic proposals were not opened because both firms failed to include the required technical-financial capacity certificate. The commission has extended the deadline for the bidders to provide this documentation.

The project, authorized by the Río Negro government, has an official budget of approximately $324.2 million pesos and a 150-day execution period. Planned works include roof repairs, waterproofing, replacing ceilings, and improving drainage and service vehicle access.
