Sierra Leone football boards announce 2026/27 league fixtures

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and the Premier League Boards have conducted the fixture draws for the 2026/27 Men’s and Women’s league seasons. The process utilized the Association’s Connect System to facilitate a digitalized approach to football management.

To kick off the new season, the 2026 Unity Cup will take place on October 4, 2026, at the Southern Arena in Bo. The match will feature a clash between Leone Rock Premier League champions Bo Rangers FC and Orange Sierra Leone FA Cup winners East End Lions FC. Spectators will be permitted to attend this opening match free of charge.

The official Leone Rock Premier League season is scheduled to begin on October 10, 2026. New technological innovations for the upcoming season include an upgraded SLFA website and a dedicated development app designed to provide real-time league tables and match results. Additionally, the SLFA is moving toward paperless administration, requiring match-day team sheets to be submitted via the SLFA Connect portal three hours before kick-off.
