Sierra Leone Parliament Prepares for Constitutional Reform Debate

Sierra Leone’s Parliament is set to debate the Constitution of Sierra Leone Amendment Bill, 2025, marking the first amendment to the 1991 Constitution. The debate, scheduled for the third session of the sixth Parliament, will focus on how state power is interpreted and constrained.
