Sierra Nevada Gold identifies new high-grade targets at As Safra
Sierra Nevada Gold has reported significant high-grade rock chip results from surface sampling at its As Safra Copper-Gold Project in Saudi Arabia. The sampling identified copper grades as high as 15.8% and gold grades up to 5.83g/t.
The results have led to the identification of a new, undrilled high-grade copper target located approximately 200m east of the North Central target. Additionally, the company has expanded the footprint of the As Safra Southeast target and the southern polymetallic system, which includes gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc.
CEO Adam Oehlman stated that these findings have “materially expanded” the company’s upcoming drilling opportunities. The company expects to begin its Phase 2 drilling program within approximately eight weeks to further test the 5.5km mineralised corridor.
