Sierra Nevada prepares for 2026-2027 ski season launch

The Sierra Nevada ski resort in Granada has scheduled the launch of its 2026-2027 snow season for November 28, provided meteorological conditions allow. This opening coincides with the weekend preceding the November 29 elections in Spain.

Significant infrastructure improvements are planned for the upcoming season to address previous mobility issues. Cetursa announced the reorganization of the Las Sabinas and Los Peñones parking areas in Pradollano. The Las Sabinas lot will transition from motorhome use to serving rotating tourists and subscribers, while Los Peñones will feature a new access road and a dedicated rotating motorhome zone to improve traffic flow.

Additionally, the resort will debut the newly renovated Nevasol restaurant near the Borreguiles cable car. The project involved a 1.6 million euro comprehensive renovation of the original 1983 building.
