SiFest 2026 photography festival to launch 35th edition in Italy

The 35th edition of SiFest, Italy’s longest-running photography festival, is scheduled to take place in Savignano sul Rubicone from September 11 to 13, 2026. The exhibitions will remain open for the following two weekends.

Under the artistic direction of Manila Camarini, this year’s theme is ‘Still Standing’. The festival aims to use photography as a tool to document the resilience of individuals and communities facing social, climatic, geopolitical, and identity-based conflicts. The event will feature works from various international and Italian photographers, including Christopher Anderson, Mario Cresci, and Lars Tunbjörk.

A new addition to the program is ‘SI FEST KIDS’, a dedicated segment for children and young people. Held from September 25 to 27 at Palazzo Vendemini, this component will include exhibitions, workshops, and conferences centered on the theme ‘Hic sunt Leones. Fuori dalle mappe, in cerca di bellezza’.
